Noemie Piccione of Pigeon Art
Noemie is a young artist, living in Western Sydney, New South Wales. As a teenager, Noemie took Slavica Zivkovic’s after school classes at the BDAS, and as an adult has studied ceramic painting with Carmel Malcolm (BDAS) and hand building pottery with Simon Bowley (Sturt).

Noemie was born in France and moved to Australia when she was eleven. Some of her fondest memories were coming out to Australia to see her extended family and working on her grandparent’s farm. Even then, she felt drawn to the wonders of the Australian native flora and fauna.

As a teenager, Noemie regularly entered artwork into the Young Artist Competition held by the BDAS and over the years won 3rd prize, 1st prize and an encouragement award.

Noemie’s latest passion is upcycling timber furniture and creating YouTube videos.
